Typeface Design
Papaik explores the possibilities of a pointed brush, using the same tool to create two weights that function as distinct yet complementary typographic styles. As a point of departure, it’s inspired by the traditional American craft of hand-painted signage. Alternate characters and contextual ligatures create natural feel of hand lettering and allow for more creative control.
